How is Human Ethical Behavior Possible
——The Review of Li Zehou's New Theory about Human Nature
Cai Ziwei
Abstract: Li Zehou clarifies his new theory about human nature in his book‘Ethical Guidelines'. As a hypothesis of human nature, he puts forward that the structure of human nature is not innate, but an accumulation of human cultural history. The structure is divided into three parts: human ability, human emotion and the concept of good and evil. Among them, the ability is the rational dominate power, the emotion is the perceptual power, the concept is the specific content. By using the emotion as power, and nelying on the concept of intellectual decision between good and evil, as well as performed by the human ability, the human ethical behavior is finally accomplished.
